Maths is all around us in our nursery. During Maths week we focused on developing our mathematical vocabulary through our Halloween enhancements-specifically our range of pumpkins. Children were learning about big, medium, small and discussing the weight of each pumpkin.
Through our large scale water play outdoors we were developing language related to capacity e.g. full, empty, half-full, as well as developing our problem solving skills and having lots of fun!
