Today, Greenhaw Primary School competed in a highly successful football tournament featuring 20 primary schools from across the city. The standard of football on display was excellent, with all matches characterised by a competitive yet sporting spirit.
Greenhaw Primary emerged as the winners of the shield after an intense and thrilling final. The match concluded with a 1-1 draw. The outcome was decided by a nail-biting penalty shootout, where Greenhaw triumphed due to a spectacular save by their star goalkeeper, Chloe. We are very proud of our team!
Throughout the day, our children represented their school with immense pride. The event not only showcased their footballing talents but also created lasting memories and forged new friendships, especially poignant as many of these children will be moving on to new schools in September.
