Boys and Girls from across Derry have been entering their fantastic poems for the prestigious 'Foyle Poetry Competition 2024'. I am very pleased to announce that we have several winners from both Key-Stages in Greenhaw.
Well done to all the classes who entered but a special mention to Owen (P4) and Lara (P6) who have both won 3rd place overall. What an incredible achievement for both pupils. Congratulations!
We also had several highly commended poem by Ella-Rose (P4), Sofia- Rose (P4), Devin (P4), Saerlaith (P4), Abbie (P6) and Evie (P6).
Winners will attend a prize-giving ceremony on Thursday 21st March at 11am in Rathmor, Creggan. All of their wonderful poems will be published for everyone to enjoy.
