This month in nursery we have been learning all about the life cycle of a frog. We visited our school pond this week and observed frogspawn and tadpoles. We couldn't spot "mammy frog." The children suggested that maybe she was away looking for food for her babies! The children are fascinated with this life cycle and are brilliant at talking about frogspawn, tadpoles, froglets, and frogs and the environments in which they live in. We will visit the pond another day in the hope of seeing some frogs.
