We have enjoyed yet another, successful 'World Book Day' in Greenhaw Primary and Nursery School.
Today the whole school community gathered in the assembly hall to share our love and passion for books, authors and all the interesting characters we meet along the way.
Foundation and Key Stage 1 classes treated us to a chorus of songs and catchy poems, accompanied by a varied range of fantastic artwork.
The children in Key Stage 2 presented their artwork, along with detailed author and matching character descriptions. The winners presented these to the entire school.
A massive well done to all the girls and boys on all their hard work in class and at home.
Finally, A huge thank you to all the parents/carers for helping the children dress up as their chosen characters and for their continued support.
