Greenhaw clinches the cup for the Most Promising School Choir 2023

A huge congratulations to the Greenhaw Nursery and Primary School Choir for winning the cup for the Most Promising School Choir. The children have been practising so hard over the last number of weeks and the fruits of their labour, dedication and talent were certainly show-cased today at the Derry Feis!

We are always proud of our children’s achievements but this one took it to the next level!! Bearing in mind this was the choir’s first time performing at the Feis, I honestly could not have been prouder today. Our school motto ‘Learn Together, Achieve Together’ was certainly in full swing in St. Mary’s College today!

Huge thanks and congratulations to Mrs O’Donnell for her tireless dedication, expertise and hard work in preparing the choir over the last number of weeks. Special thanks also, to Mrs Vance for all her help and support and to Trevor Burnside, our accompanist, for his expertise. 

As we approach the end of the school term, there could be no better way to celebrate the brilliance of the children and staff of Greenhaw Primary and Nursery School.
