P1s enjoyed making compliment crowns as part of National Compliment Day. After much painting, gluing, sticking and glittering the children wore their crowns to circle time. Here they picked a child's name (written on lollipop sticks) and gave the chosen child a compliment which they then glued on to their crown. They said they felt "happy", "good" and "smiley' when they received a compliment. P1 certainly are the kings and queens of giving compliments! What a fantastic way to boost self esteem and confidence in each other!
