P1's Autumn Walk in St. Columb's Park
15th Oct 2019
The P1s spent a lovely morning in St. Columb's Park exploring signs of Autumn. They walked along the path leading into the woods and found oak and sycamore trees and leaves. There were no sign of bears but we were fortunate enough to spot a squirrel scurry up a tree. The children gathered leaves, acorns, twigs, conkers, feathers and berries to bring back to school to explore further and make an Autumn collage for display. We ended the walk with a snack in the 'Café in the Park' and a play in the park. A very enjoyable day was had by all!
