Our nursery children were so excited to come into school this morning and find all 5 painted lady butterflies had emerged from their cocoons! We were fortunate to observe two come out on Friday and the excitement was palpable for the emergence of the other three! It has been so fascinating to watch this life cycle from tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies. We will release the butterflies tomorrow so that the cycle can begin all over again!
