The P1 and P2 children enjoyed celebrating this year's world book day by dressing up as a character from a favourite book. In school they painting a range of popular characters from story books which were displayed in the school assembly hall. They participated in numerous literacy activities throughout the day, sang a favourite song / Nursery rhyme in assembly and enjoyed listening to stories read by the class teachers.
