Thought for the Day- Bethlehem's Buzzing

7th Dec 2018

Today saw excited parents descend upon the school in huge crowds for the the KS1 production of 'Bethlehem's Buzzing'. As nervous teachers frantically raced around fixing costumes and sorting dodgy sound leads, the children sat filled with confidence and ready to perform.

The show was amazing and the children in our school demonstrated ,once again, their exceptional talent. They sang beautifully and brought home the true meaning of Christmas.

Sometimes at this time of year we can get caught up in the hype. Today I saw the delight in the children's eyes when they saw their family watching them perform. They were overjoyed by a wave from a mammy or daddy and filled with pride when they got a big hug after the show. I was reminded that sometimes it's the simple things that matter most to our children, especially at this time of year.

Well done KS1, your teachers and the entire school are very proud of you.
